METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Enhanced ZZ Gundam & Gaemalk Pre-Orders

Tamashii Web Shop pre-orders open Sep 11, 16:00 JST: Ka signature Enhanced ZZ Gundam ¥26,400 (Apr 2027) and Gaemalk [Re:Coordinate] ¥17,600 (Feb 2027).

The Gundam ZZ 40th-anniversary teaser has a payoff: BANDAI SPIRITS opens Tamashii Web Shop pre-orders on September 11, 2026 at 16:00 JST for two Hajime Katoki-supervised figures. The METAL ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) <SIDE MS> Enhanced ZZ Gundam is ¥26,400 (about $175) and ships April 2027; the ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) <SIDE MS> Gaemalk [Re:Coordinate] is ¥17,600 (about $115) and ships February 2027. Both are Tamashii Web Shop exclusives, so there is no AmiAmi or HLJ listing to wait for. Overseas buyers either need a Premium Bandai USA listing, which was not yet confirmed as of September 10, or a proxy with a Japanese address.

Two figures, one opening time

Orders open at 16:00 JST on Friday, September 11, which is 3:00 a.m. ET or midnight PT the same day. Neither Premium Bandai page prints a closing date; both warn that orders may close early once the prepared quantity is reached, and the per-person cap is four for the Enhanced ZZ and three for the Gaemalk. With no deadline to plan around, assume the first hours decide it.

The Enhanced ZZ Gundam

This is the anniversary headliner: the upgraded ZZ Gundam from later in the show, done as a METAL ROBOT SPIRITS under Katoki’s supervision, with diecast in the joints and elsewhere. It transforms into the G-Fortress form, and Bandai is already flagging a separately sold Full Armor parts set that turns it into the Full Armor ZZ. That set has no price or date yet, so treat it as a future purchase rather than something to budget for now.

The box holds four pairs of swap hands, two Hyper Beam Sabers with effects, the Double Beam Rifle, an alternate antenna, joint parts and a stand. Age rating is 15 and up.

The Gaemalk

The Gaemalk is a re-release, not a new sculpt. Bandai is bringing back the earlier Ka signature Gaemalk with revised paint tones and markings under the [Re:Coordinate] label, at about 155 mm in ABS and PVC. The Mother Funnels and Child Funnels are removable, and it is meant to pair with the separately sold ROBOT SPIRITS Quin Mansa (Marking Plus).

Included are four pairs of hands, two mono-eye parts, two Beam Sabers with effects, two of each funnel type, two support struts and a stand.

Why it matters overseas

Five days ago the 40th-anniversary teaser showed nothing but a logo. Now the program has two priced products, and the Enhanced ZZ sits above the ¥24,200 that the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Double X opened at last week.

Both tamashiiweb pages list USA, EMEA and LATAM among the sales areas, which is the usual sign that a Premium Bandai USA listing is intended. We could not open the US store to confirm either item on September 10, so do not count on it until a page appears.

How to buy

If you are in the US, check Premium Bandai USA first on September 11; the Double X first run got a listing there at US$220. If nothing shows, or you are in Canada, the UK or Australia, a proxy service ordering from the Japanese Premium Bandai page is the route, and the per-person cap is counted on the proxy’s Premium Bandai account rather than yours.
