Ganso SD Zero Gundam Kit Pre-Orders: ¥7,700, Feb 2027

Bandai's all-new Ganso SD Gundam World Holy Dragon Knight Zero Gundam kit is ¥7,700 on the Tamashii Web Shop from Sep 4, 2026 JST and ships February 2027.

Bandai Spirits opened Tamashii Web Shop pre-orders on September 4, 2026 at 16:00 JST (3:00 a.m. ET / midnight PT) for 元祖SDガンダムワールド 聖竜騎士ゼロガンダム, the Ganso SD Gundam World “Holy Dragon Knight Zero Gundam”: an all-new-mold SD kit at ¥7,700 (about $51) tax-in that ships in February 2027. It is a Premium Bandai web-shop item rather than a general-retail Gunpla, and while Tamashii Web lists the USA among its sales regions, we could not confirm a Premium Bandai USA listing as of September 6, so for now the reliable route from overseas is a proxy ordering from the Japanese page.

What it is

Zero Gundam comes from 新SDガンダム外伝 ナイトガンダム物語, the Knight Gundam story arc of SD Gundam Gaiden. Bandai’s blurb describes it as the form the Demon Dragon Knight Zero Gundam, inheritor of the Rairyuken (雷龍剣, roughly “Thunder Dragon Sword”), reaches after awakening a “holy heart” mid-battle. we could not find an official English product name, so the rendering above is ours.

The kit is a fresh sculpt rather than a reissue of a 1990s mold, and Bandai pitches it as a “Reiwa-era Ganso SD”: the classic squat Ganso proportions, but with neck, shoulder and hip joints that extend so the figure can also hold SD Gundam-style action poses. Parts come on a pre-colored blue-metallic runner, and the box holds the runners plus a cloth cape. Built, it stands about 80 mm. Materials are ABS and PVC plastic with the fabric cape.

Why it matters overseas

Ganso SD Gundam World is the line Bandai has been using to bring 1980s and 1990s SD Gundam characters back as new kits, and HOBBY Watch’s coverage this year already includes a Versal Knight Gundam and a Musha Gundam under the same banner. A Zero Gundam with a new mold, rather than a repop, suggests the Knight Gundam side of the catalog is getting the same treatment, which is good news if you grew up with the Carddass cards or the SNES games and never had the kits.

The catch is the channel. Tamashii Web items have no fixed order deadline and simply close when Bandai’s planned run is spoken for, so waiting for a hypothetical US listing carries some risk. How to buy

If Premium Bandai USA does list it, that means dollar pricing and domestic shipping with no proxy fees; we will update this page if that happens. Otherwise, a proxy service such as Buyee or ZenMarket can order from the Japanese Premium Bandai page and forward the parcel after it ships in February 2027. This is a small, light box compared with a scale figure, so the second shipping leg should be cheaper than for a scale figure, and it combines well with other Premium Bandai items in the same forwarding window, such as the Mega Size Unicorn Gundam Ver.
