SD Gundam Gaiden is Bandai's fantasy take on SD Gundam, running since 1989, in which Gundam mobile suits are recast as knights, wizards and monsters in a medieval kingdom, led by Knight Gundam. It started with Carddass trading cards and spread to the Ganso SD Gundam model kits, video games and manga, and Bandai's current Ganso SD Gundam World line is bringing its characters back as newly molded kits. Most of those new kits are Tamashii Web Shop items on Premium Bandai, so overseas buyers usually go through a proxy.
