30MF Monster Hunter Wilds Rathalos, Arkveld Kits: ¥4,950

Bandai Spirits is bringing Monster Hunter Wilds into its 30 MINUTES FANTASY (30MF) model-kit line with two sets: Rathalos Equipment -Rathalos Series- and Arkveld Equipment -Arkvulcan Series-. Each is ¥4,950 (about $35) tax-in, rated 15+, and due March 2027 as a general-retail release. The collaboration was announced August 21, 2026 JST at Bandai’s 15th 30 MINUTES LABEL new-product livestream, and Hobby Japan Web reports retail pre-orders opening from August 26.

For overseas buyers the key phrase is general retail: no Premium Bandai lottery, no proxy service, and at ¥4,950 the duty bill stays small even now that the US has ended de minimis duty-free entry (see our import duty guide). HobbyLink Japan already lists both at ¥4,500, though as of August 29 each shows “Order Stop”, meaning its first allocation is full; HLJ says it may take orders again around the March release if stock allows.

What 30MF is, in one paragraph

30 MINUTES FANTASY is the fantasy branch of Bandai’s 30 MINUTES LABEL snap-fit kits (the same family as 30 MINUTES MISSIONS and 30 MINUTES SISTERS). Every 30MF kit is built around a humanoid “Silhouette” base body; armor and weapon parts snap on to “job change” it into a knight, a mage, or in this case a hunter. Parts are cross-compatible across the line, which is the point: you can mix Monster Hunter armor with existing 30MF bodies and weapons.

Rathalos Equipment -Rathalos Series-

The Rathalos set turns the Silhouette body into a hunter in the armor made from the series’ signature wyvern. Bandai’s product page lists a Great Sword, a knife, and a Slinger that is articulated so it can be shown stowed or deployed. An Action Base 6 is included to hold the weapon in poses.

Bandai also highlights the shoulder joints, built so the body outline holds together in wide poses; a head-and-neck axis that lets the hunter tuck the chin or push the face forward; and shoulder and waist armor mounted through joints on the back so the armor moves with the body.

Arkveld Equipment -Arkvulcan Series-

The second set covers Arkveld, the flagship monster of Wilds, as the Arkvulcan armor set. Its weapon is a Switch Axe that converts between sword, axe, and sheathed modes without swapping parts. A knife, Slinger, and Action Base 6 are included here too.

Why this matters for US buyers

Bandai’s snap-fit kits are the easiest category of Japanese hobby product to import: general retail, no paint or glue needed, small boxes, and steady reprints. That is a different world from the METAL STRUCTURE Gundam Mk-II at ¥137,500, and it changes the approach. Rather than fighting for a first-day slot, watch HLJ and AmiAmi for the second allocation in the run-up to March, and expect Amazon US listings from importers after the Japanese release.
