Girls' Frontline 2 Makiatto Figure Slips to October 2026

Wonderful Works’ 1/7 scale Makiatto: Ballroom Interlude Ver. from Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium was supposed to reach Japanese shops today, August 31 — the street date retail listings carried when pre-orders opened last November. It will not: Good Smile Company’s product page and the export shops we checked now show October 2026. The practical upside for overseas buyers is that the slip keeps the order window alive. AmiAmi’s English store still lists the figure as an open pre-order at ¥26,030 (about $175), 10 percent under the ¥28,930 (about $195) list price, so if you missed the original round you can still get one at retail rather than aftermarket prices.

The figure

Makiatto is one of the sequel’s playable T-Dolls, and this is her “Ballroom Interlude” dress-up skin: an evening dress pinched up at the hem over shorts and sheer tights, her usual ribbon, and her bullpup sniper rifle cradled in one arm, painted to separate its wood and metal textures. Good Smile’s product copy calls the outfit a more casual, easier-to-move-in redesign of the matching look from the first game.

The maker credits are デイラ (Deira) for the sculpt and Hiroshi Michikawa for the paintwork. It is a fixed-pose plastic figure, about 250 mm tall including its dedicated concert-hall base, distributed by Good Smile Company.

A quiet delay

When the figure was announced on November 21, 2025, coverage and retail listings gave a release date of August 31, 2026. As of today, Good Smile’s own shop page says October 2026, and AmiAmi and HobbyLink Japan both list October 31, 2026. The change did not appear in the August delay notice Good Smile posted on its news page — the one that covered figma Marin Kitagawa and the CERAMAX mugs — it simply shows on the listings, so buyers watching for a release-day pickup could easily have missed it.

Where you can still order

AmiAmi is the live option. Its English store ships worldwide from Japan and had the pre-order open at ¥26,030 when we checked on August 31. HobbyLink Japan has a product page at ¥26,300 (about $177), but its order deadline closed on February 5, 2026 — you can only set a Notify Me alert there in case orders reopen. Good Smile’s own shop took orders from November 21, 2025 to February 12, 2026, with a limit of three per person, and that window is long past. Amazon US had no listing when we checked, so the Amazon link below is a search page for now.
