GSC Delays figma Marin Kitagawa and CERAMAX Kagamine Mugs

Good Smile moved Max Factory's figma Marin Kitagawa from August to September 2026 and the CERAMAX Kagamine Len and Rin mugs to September and October.

Good Smile Company has pushed three August 2026 items back by one to two months: Max Factory’s figma Marin Kitagawa from My Dress-Up Darling now ships in September, the CERAMAX Kagamine Len mug moves to September, and the CERAMAX Kagamine Rin mug to October. The notice went up on August 28 (JST), cites manufacturing reasons, and all three product pages already show the new months. Only the figma appears on the English version of the notice; the two mugs are listed on the Japanese page.

If you pre-ordered the figma at AmiAmi or the Good Smile store, nothing changes except the wait. Both shops bill standard pre-orders when the item is available, so the payment request lands in September rather than August. Details on timing and cancellation are below.

What moved

The Marin figma is a non-scale articulated figure, about 145 mm tall, sculpted by Uniko Enomoto with production cooperation from Masaki Apsy. It comes with three face plates (standard, winking, and the “I totally wuv him” face), a smartphone and a school bag. The Good Smile store lists a pre-order period of September 9 to October 22, 2025 (JST), with a closed-eyes smiling face as the store bonus and a limit of three per person.

Good Smile’s Japanese notice marks the figma as a distribution-limited item, which means it is sold through the GSC store and selected partner shops rather than general retail. AmiAmi’s English store lists it under its “Exclusive Sale” label. Check the AmiAmi page for its current order status; it may take a few days to reflect the new month.

The CERAMAX mugs are the first products in Max Factory’s ceramics brand: Kutani-ware mugs about 7.8 cm across and 8.2 cm tall with KEI’s Rin and Len art. The Good Smile store lists a pre-order period of February 26 to March 25, 2026, says quantities are limited, and caps orders at three per person; availability at partner shops varies, so we are not linking shops for them. The twins now ship a month apart, which matters if you ordered both in one Good Smile order.

What a delay means for your pre-order

Payment. As our Pre-order 101 guide explains, the Good Smile store charges your card or PayPal at shipment (large pre-orders are charged at checkout), and AmiAmi sends its payment request once every item in an order is available, then gives you seven days to pay. A Marin figma ordered at either shop is therefore billed in September at the earliest. The month on a listing is a plan, and slips of this size are routine.

Split orders. If you combined Rin and Len at the Good Smile store, ask the store how the order will ship, since the two mugs now have different months. Because AmiAmi invoices only when every item is available, an order combining the figma with an August item waits for the figma unless you split it.

Cancelling. The same guide covers cancellation: AmiAmi accepts cancellation requests on unreleased pre-orders from your account page but treats them as requests, and the Good Smile store says a cancellation may not be possible depending on the product and the order status. In both cases, act before the payment request rather than after.

Where to check the figma
