Solarain opened pre-orders on August 28, 2026 for two 1/7 scale Azur Lane figures shown at Good Smile Fes 2026 Tokyo: Chao Ho in her Azure Ripples, Shimmering Sun swimsuit (肇和 青粼煌陽 Ver.) and Ying Swei in Blue Waves, Limpid Summer (応瑞 碧波清夏 Ver.). Each is ¥27,500 (about $185), roughly 18 cm tall, and ships June 2027. Good Smile Company distributes Solarain in Japan, and its pre-order window runs through October 28, 2026 (JST), which is the evening of October 27 in US time zones.

For overseas buyers this is a general-retail release, not a shop exclusive, so you have options: HobbyLink Japan lists both at ¥25,000 (about $165) with its own order deadline of October 22, and Good Smile’s global store, CDJapan and Tokyo Otaku Mode also carry them. The two figures are designed as a pair on matching swan floats, so if you want both, order them from the same shop to combine shipping.

The two figures

Both are painted plastic complete figures with a dedicated base. Chao Ho is posed on her swan float in a wet, translucent shirt, one arm across her chest; Ying Swei reclines on hers with a hand on her bikini string, and her base carries chibi art of a stray swimsuit and a Manjuu riding a swan, the detail that ties the pair together on a shelf. The English product names are Good Smile’s official ones and match the Yostar skin names, so search shops for “Chao Ho” and “Ying Swei” rather than the Japanese readings.

The collector’s card is a first-production-run bonus. Good Smile’s store includes it with first-run purchases, and HLJ notes it can be missing even on early orders depending on how stock is shipped, so a later rerun would most likely ship without it.

Why the window matters

Solarain figures reach Western shops through Good Smile’s distribution, and the two-month window here is the standard Good Smile pattern rather than a short event-only run. The catch is that overseas shops close their own books earlier than the maker: HLJ’s deadline is October 22, six days before GSC’s October 28 cut-off, and CDJapan lists October 25.
