Amazing Yamaguchi Symbiote Spider-Man Rerun: Order by Oct 4

Kaiyodo is rerunning Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Symbiote Spider-Man for April 2027 at ¥11,000 (about $73) including tax, and the import shops are already taking orders below that: HobbyLink Japan has it at ¥9,500 (about $63) and AmiAmi at ¥9,350 (about $62). The date to care about is HLJ’s cancellation deadline of October 4, 2026 JST — roughly 11:00 a.m. ET / 8:00 a.m. PT on October 3 — after which the order is committed, just under seven months before the figure ships on April 30, 2027.

This is the black-suit version of Katsuhisa Yamaguchi’s Spider-Man. HOBBY JAPAN calls the rerun long-awaited; the original release is no longer on either shop’s pre-order list, so this is the way back in at list price.

What is in the box

The figure stands about 160 mm tall in PVC, ABS, POM and magnets, and Kaiyodo’s parts list is the reason this one has a reputation:

• 1 optional face (Kaiyodo’s description calls out a snarling, angry expression)
• 2 symbiote parts that mount on the back
• 1 wall-binding web
• 3 webs plus 1 web tip part
• 1 wrist-binding web
• 1 sticky web

The wall-binding web is magnetic, which is the piece people buy this figure for — it pins another figure against a surface rather than just hanging in the air. Kaiyodo says the web effects were designed with combining them with other figures in mind, so they are not limited to posing this one on its own.

A note on the price

Kaiyodo’s own product page lists ¥11,000 including tax. HOBBY JAPAN web’s September 11 write-up of the same rerun gives ¥12,100 — exactly ¥11,000 with another 10% added, which looks like tax applied twice. We are going with Kaiyodo’s number, and both shop listings are consistent with an ¥11,000 MSRP rather than a ¥12,100 one. If you see the higher number quoted elsewhere, that is where it comes from.

The HOBBY JAPAN piece also mentions a bonus “corroded face” part for pre-orders placed at Kaiyodo’s own directly operated stores in Japan. Kaiyodo’s product page does not list that bonus, so treat it as unconfirmed — and an in-store Japanese pre-order is out of reach from abroad short of a proxy. Why the import shops are cheaper

Both AmiAmi and HLJ sit roughly 15% under the Japanese sticker. Part of that is Japanese consumption tax, which comes off export orders and takes ¥11,000 down to ¥10,000; the rest is each shop’s own discount. Neither price includes international shipping, though a 160 mm Revoltech box is small and light enough that shipping does not wreck the math the way it does on a 1/7 scale figure.
