Attack on Titan Amazing Yamaguchi Rerun Lands Sep 18

Kaiyodo has set Friday, September 18, 2026 as the Japanese release date for the 2026 rerun of its Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Attack Titan, the Eren Yeager titan form from Attack on Titan, at ¥8,800 tax-in (about $60). The date came from Kaiyodo’s official X account on September 9 and was picked up by HOBBY Watch the same afternoon. For US, UK, Canadian and Australian buyers the practical news is that AmiAmi still shows the figure on pre-order as of September 10 in Tokyo, so there is a short window to lock one in at retail price before it ships.

What you get

This is the same 170 mm articulated titan that Kaiyodo first released under the Amazing Yamaguchi banner, directed by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi with the sculpt by Shotaro Sakamoto. Kaiyodo’s product page walks through the joints that make it work: a chest split left and right so the shoulders swing forward for a deep cross-arm reach, a segmented torso for natural arching and hunching, ball-and-diagonal-axis hips, and an extra joint in the shin that does not exist on a human body but lets the leg flex the way the manga draws it.

The body is PVC, ABS, POM and POK, and the paint uses layered shading to bring out the muscle detail. In the box you get six option hands, one alternate set of bangs with the hair swept back for action poses, and a display stand. Kaiyodo’s note is that the hand count does not include the pair fitted at the factory.

One reading note: a sentence in HOBBY Watch’s body copy says the 19th, but the article’s headline, Kaiyodo’s product page and Kaiyodo’s own post all give the 18th, and September 18 is the Friday the post names. Go with the 18th.

At least the third run, and ¥220 more

Kaiyodo announced this rerun back on March 17 with a September release month; the news now is that the month has become a date. AmiAmi’s catalog shows two earlier runs of the same figure under the older “Attack on Titan” product name, one released in March 2025 and one in September 2025, both at ¥8,580. The 2026 run adds POK to the material list and moves the price up by ¥220 to ¥8,800. That is still one of the cheaper ways into the Amazing Yamaguchi line, less than the Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid Delta that opens for pre-order on September 11 at ¥12,100.

The reason a rerun matters overseas is timing. Kaiyodo’s page carries the standard warning that pre-orders and purchases may not be possible depending on stock. Ordering now means a shop holds a unit for you; waiting for in-stock listings after the 18th means competing with everyone who did not.

AmiAmi lists the 2026 run as a pre-order at ¥8,800 with a September 2026 release, and its shipping list for this item includes the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. HobbyLink Japan returned no products for the rerun when we searched on September 10, so the HLJ link below is a search page until that changes. Both shops ship pre-orders after Japanese stock reaches their warehouses, so do not expect a shipping notice before the September 18 release; we are not going to guess at transit times beyond that.
