Good Smile Arts Shanghai opened pre-orders on September 10 for a 1/7 scale figure of 魔王ちゃん (Maou-chan), the protagonist of Yostar’s Stella Sora, priced at ¥27,000 (about $180) and shipping in November 2027. The Good Smile Company online store takes orders until October 21 at 23:59 JST (10:59 a.m. ET / 7:59 a.m. PT the same day) and takes overseas orders, with every order placed inside that window guaranteed to be fulfilled as long as the payment and shipping details are correct. AmiAmi and HobbyLink Japan also had her up as an open pre-order on the morning of September 11 in Tokyo, listed under the English name “Tyrant (Female).”

Which name to search for

The shops do not agree on what to call her. Good Smile’s global store titles the product “Tyrant (Female)” while the Japanese side and HOBBY Watch use 魔王ちゃん, and AmiAmi and HLJ both file her as “Stella Sora Tyrant (Female).” If a search for Maou-chan comes up empty, try the Tyrant name.

Stella Sora is a Yostar game. AmiAmi also carries a Good Smile Company Nendoroid of the same character as a separate listing, and both collect on the Stella Sora hub.

What Good Smile Arts Shanghai built

The sculpt is credited to gasika and the paint to LUO. HOBBY Watch’s rundown of the sculpt: a composed, faintly mysterious expression, one hand raised in a graceful gesture, a black-and-blue outfit with a gold chain at the waist, a big volume of hair, black gloves tipped in blue, and a fine pattern worked into the knee socks.

A swap face part, “smile,” is included so you can change her expression. AmiAmi lists the contents as the figure and a base.

How the Good Smile store window works

The Good Smile Company online store runs a fixed pre-order period rather than a first-come allocation. Its product page states that all orders placed during the period are guaranteed to be fulfilled, with the caveat that it may stop taking new orders before the end date without notice. Accounts registered outside Japan and Taiwan are billed in US dollars, per the store’s user guide; the page shows ¥27,000 when read from Tokyo.

Payment is the part to plan for. The product page says card and PayPal orders are charged two to three weeks before the confirmed shipping date, and that some high-priced items may be charged at the time of order instead. Where to pre-order

AmiAmi lists the figure at ¥27,000 (about $180, tax included) with a November 2027 release. HLJ has it at ¥24,545 (about $165) with a release date of November 30, 2027, and a cancellation deadline of October 15, 2026; HLJ does not print an order cut-off.
