Good Smile Arts Shanghai has opened pre-orders for a 1/8 scale Anchorage: Private Quarters Ver. from Azur Lane under its new LessMore line: ¥8,500 (about $57) tax-in, about 229 mm tall including the base, shipping June 2027. Pre-orders run from August 28 to October 21, 2026 (JST) at the Good Smile Company shop. It is a general-release item, so the usual export shops carry it: HobbyLink Japan already lists it at ¥7,727 (about $52) before tax with an earlier order stop of October 15, 2026. The Japanese name, 交流宿舎ver., points to the game’s dormitory; Good Smile’s English store renders it as “Private Quarters.”

The figure

Anchorage, the Eagle Union heavy cruiser, is shown in a sheer negligee with bunny-shaped hair clips, one hand lifting the hem of the skirt. The translucent fabric is the point of the sculpt: HOBBY Watch notes the skin tone rendered under the cloth, and HLJ’s listing calls out the ruffles, hair, and fingers. It is a painted, finished plastic figure with a dedicated base. Sculpting is credited to the GSAS production department, paint to Anong.

Why this matters for overseas buyers

The price is the story. Good Smile describes LessMore as a “less is more” 1/8 series meant to keep figure collecting affordable, and ¥8,500 is a different bracket from the Azur Lane scales we cover most often: Solarain’s Chao Ho and Ying Swei summer figures, announced the same day, are ¥27,500 each, and ALTER’s AmiAmi-exclusive Algérie is ¥43,780. Against either, this Anchorage costs less than a third.

There is no store-exclusive bonus listed. The Good Smile shop shows nothing beyond the figure and its base, so there is no reason to use a proxy; order from HLJ, AmiAmi, or Good Smile’s own English store and pay on release as usual. The one thing to watch is the deadline gap. Good Smile takes orders through October 21 JST (no closing hour is listed, so treat the evening of October 20 ET/PT as the safe cutoff), while HLJ’s cancellation deadline is October 15 JST, which is October 14 in US time zones. If you miss both, the item is general retail, so a rerun or leftover stock is possible, but not guaranteed.

Two notes on the product itself. The 229 mm figure is quoted as total height with the base, so compare it to the 250 to 270 mm ALTER lists for its 1/7 Algérie figures before deciding how much shelf it needs. And June 2027 is a shipment target from Good Smile; ALTER’s recent Azur Lane delays show how these months move, so treat it as an estimate.

Where to pre-order

HLJ has a live listing. The AmiAmi and Amazon US links go to search results until listings appear; we will swap them as they turn up.

The October 21 deadline goes on the Pre-order Radar. For the rest of the Azur Lane figure pipeline, including the Solarain pair and ALTER’s delayed releases, see the Azur Lane hub. If you have never ordered from a Japanese export shop, our HLJ vs AmiAmi vs Good Smile guide covers payment timing and shipping options.

Most Japanese shops ship worldwide by EMS/DHL (7–14 days). Duties and import taxes are charged on delivery in most countries — check your local threshold before ordering.
