Arcanadea Grande Scale Lumitea ReACT-A Kit Pre-Orders Open

Kotobukiya has opened pre-orders for Grande Scale Lumitea ReACT-A, a roughly 25 cm plastic kit of the dark-attribute version of Arcanadea’s angel-type Dears, at ¥14,300 (about $95) with shipping in February 2027. AmiAmi lists it at ¥13,580 (about $90) and is taking orders, so US, UK, Canadian and Australian builders can order without a proxy. HobbyLink Japan listed it at ¥12,740 (about $85) but had closed orders by the evening of September 8 (JST); more on that below.

Grande Scale, and what ReACT-A means

Grande Scale is Kotobukiya’s line of enlarged re-engineered kits: it takes the CAD data of an existing Kotobukiya model and redesigns it at a bigger size, the pitch being easier assembly, easier painting and more room to play. Lumitea is the angel Dears of the “SF meets fantasy” Arcanadea line, and ReACT-A is her dark-attribute form, black wings and dark armor in place of the standard Lumitea, which already has a Grande Scale kit of its own.

The kit builds into two forms with dedicated swap parts: a non-combat Normal Mode and the armed Wilize Mode. Four tampo-printed faces are included, plus a sheet of water-slide face decals for building your own expression, and cover parts that plug the head-ornament sockets so she can be displayed with a plain hairstyle. The ring part used for the “engage” pairing in the line’s story is in the box too.

The engineering details HOBBY Watch called out

Start at the legs: the knees use pull-out joints, so nothing mechanical shows from the front when she stands straight, and the box carries a newly designed hip-joint set that fits the earlier Grande Scale Lumitea kit, a free upgrade if you own that one. The big wings are the design problem on any Lumitea. Here they hang off a hexagonal, magic-circle-shaped mount with a 5 mm socket, picked for grip, and their joints sit where they do not interrupt the outline, so the wings can be posed without reading as hinged.

Bonus and deadline

Kotobukiya Shop’s exclusive is a winking face; the shop does not ship overseas, and on a ¥14,300 kit a proxy fee for one face is a poor trade. HOBBY Watch’s notice gives no order deadline, which in practice means “until each shop’s allocation is gone,” and HLJ’s went on day one: by the evening of September 8 (JST) its page read “the order deadline closed on 2026-09-08” with a Notify Me button in place of the cart. That is the same thing that happened to the Megami Device Skoll listing last week, and HLJ sometimes gets a second allocation, so the notify button is worth using. AmiAmi was still open at the same hour.

AmiAmi at ¥13,580 is the live listing. HLJ’s ¥12,740 was the lower sticker, the same HLJ-under-AmiAmi split the Kagutsuchi-Otsu Sniper showed last week, but its link below now lands on the closed page. The Amazon US link is a search page until a listing appears.
