Kotobukiya has put Milla Maxwell from Tales of Xillia up for pre-order as a 1/8 scale figure at ¥26,400 (about $175), shipping April 2027. The pose is built on her Supreme Elements mystic arte from the game, and both export shops opened on day one: AmiAmi at ¥25,080 (about $165) and HobbyLink Japan at ¥24,000 (about $160), so no proxy is needed from the US, UK, Canada or Australia.
The figure
Milla is one of the two lead characters of Bandai Namco’s 2011 RPG, the self-declared Lord of Spirits, and Kotobukiya has gone for the moment she calls the four Great Spirits. She stands about 210 mm tall with the base, sword raised, and the base carries four colored magic circles. HOBBY Watch’s two notes on the sculpt are the hair, delicate but voluminous and done in clear parts, and the body line, which follows the swing of the sword.
Kotobukiya’s online-shop post the same day, quoted by HOBBY Watch, leads with the same things, the hair’s dimensionality and the four-color base, which is as close as the maker’s messaging gets to telling you what it thinks sells the piece.

The bonus face stays in Japan
Pre-ordering at Kotobukiya’s physical shops or its Japanese online shop adds a swap-out face part. Kotobukiya’s Japanese shops do not ship overseas, so an export-shop order gets the single expression only. That is the same arrangement as Kotobukiya’s Renne from Trails through Daybreak II, and for a ¥26,400 piece a proxy surcharge for one face is hard to justify.
HOBBY Watch’s notice gives no order deadline. HLJ shows a cancellation deadline of November 11, 2026 (JST), which ends at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT on November 11; that is the last day to back out of an HLJ order rather than the end of sales, and the listing can close earlier if HLJ’s allocation fills.
What it means for overseas buyers
A new 1/8 of a 15-year-old game’s lead, with two export shops on board on the first day, is the easy case: order at the shop you already use and let the pre-order sit. HLJ is ¥1,080 lower on the sticker, but our HLJ vs AmiAmi comparison explains why shipping can flip that for a single figure. Neither charges until the figure ships in April 2027.
Where to pre-order
The Amazon US link below is a search page until a listing appears.
New figures from the game will collect on the Tales of Xillia hub.
Most Japanese shops ship worldwide by EMS/DHL (7–14 days). Duties and import taxes are charged on delivery in most countries — check your local threshold before ordering.
