Puella Magi Madoka Magica is Shaft and Aniplex's 2011 magical-girl series written by Gen Urobuchi, followed by the Rebellion film and the 2025 sequel Walpurgisnacht Rising. Good Smile Company, Aniplex+ and Max Factory have kept Madoka, Homura and Mami in production for well over a decade, so the line is a steady mix of new sculpts and reruns. Most releases are Japan-market items that overseas buyers pick up through import shops.
