Union Creative is taking pre-orders for a 1/6 scale Ren Yamashiro from Chained Soldier 2: ¥28,864 tax-in (about $195), shipping September 2027. The window runs until November 9 at 23:59 JST — that is 9:59 a.m. ET / 6:59 a.m. PT the same day. For overseas buyers the easy route is HobbyLink Japan, which already lists the figure at ¥26,240 (about $175), below Japanese list price, with no proxy service needed.
The figure
This is Ren, supreme commander of the Demon Defense Force, in her unit uniform and cape. Union Creative seats her cross-legged on a heavily decorated chair, cape draped behind her, and the maker’s own copy makes the point that the chair is part of the sculpt, not a bare base: the gold trim and emblem on the chair back, the trim on the uniform, and the fall of the cape all get separate attention.
Sculpting is by En craft and SEIKI, paint by (Mogurabo) Hirame, with En craft also credited for production cooperation. Seated, the figure measures about 255 mm with its base, so despite the 1/6 scale it will not tower over the 1/7 figures on the same shelf.
