Kaiyodo posted a second large Hatsune Miku scale on September 4: Hatsune Miku Goldfish Ver., a 1/7 figure built from a new illustration by Hanasa and ATDan, at ¥44,000 (about $300) tax-in, shipping June 2027. It stands about 360 mm including the base, which makes it taller than the Azure Dragon Ver. that Kaiyodo announced in August and opened for orders on August 17. The product page carries no pre-order date yet; the two Dead or Alive 6 figures Kaiyodo posted the same day open on September 8 at 12:00 JST, so that slot is the one to watch.
What it is
The concept is water and air at once: Miku floats as if underwater, her hair and robe drifting, while goldfish swim through the air around her. Kaiyodo commissioned the artwork from Hanasa and ATDan, using the goldfish as a good-luck motif, and sculpted the figure with a tall, slim reading of the character, balanced on one toe above a lotus-leaf base.
Two details Kaiyodo singles out: the eyes are a 12-color pad print to keep the illustration’s look, and the goldfish and the flowing parts are clear plastic with pearl paint. The rest of the costume is a Chinese-style robe in red and gold, with goldfish printed on the wide sleeves and a hem cut like goldfish fins.

Why it matters overseas
Kaiyodo now has two large Miku scales in one summer: the Azure Dragon (¥27,500, September 2027) and the Goldfish (¥44,000, June 2027), both from original illustrations rather than existing game or concert designs. The Goldfish is the more ambitious piece, with more clear parts and a much larger footprint, and the price reflects that. The iron in the materials list points to a weighted base for a figure supported on a single toe, which is the kind of engineering that decides whether a 36 cm figure survives a decade on a shelf.
For US buyers the practical question is the box. A figure this tall with clear fish parts ships in a large carton, so the Japan-to-US leg will cost noticeably more than a standard 1/7. Ordering it alone rather than combined with other items keeps the shipment simple, and June 2027 is far enough out that no payment is due for months at shops that charge on release.
How to buy
Kaiyodo’s scales go to general retail, and the Azure Dragon is carried by AmiAmi. No shop has listed the Goldfish yet, so the links below are search pages; we will swap in product pages once listings appear, and add the pre-order date as soon as Kaiyodo posts it.
It joins the Hatsune Miku hub alongside the Azure Dragon and Good Smile’s Miku lineup, and goes on the Pre-order Radar once the window opens.
Most Japanese shops ship worldwide by EMS/DHL (7–14 days). Duties and import taxes are charged on delivery in most countries — check your local threshold before ordering.
