Kaiyodo has pre-orders open for a 1/7 scale Hatsune Miku Azure Dragon Ver.: ¥27,500 (about $185) tax-in, about 270 mm tall including the base, shipping September 2027. Orders opened August 17 (JST), and neither Kaiyodo’s product page nor its press release lists a closing date — this one stays open until the allocation runs out. For overseas buyers the good news is that it is a general-retail release, and AmiAmi’s English export listing is already taking orders, so you can lock one in today without a proxy.
The figure
The design comes from illustrator 苏安Lily, whose Azure Dragon take on Miku is the basis of this scale figure. The azure dragon is the guardian of the east among the four classical direction symbols, and the figure carries the theme head to toe: branching blue-green horns, a long scaled tail that wraps around her legs, gold-rimmed cloud ornaments floating at her sides, and a short white pleated dress with teal and gold trim. She stands on heels at the edge of a rippling water base, folding fan raised to her brow.

How to order from the US
Kaiyodo’s press release lists general retail across the usual Japanese channels — its own online store, AmiAmi, TSUTAYA, Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera and DMM — so no lottery and no web-shop exclusivity. AmiAmi’s export listing is live now; HobbyLink Japan had no listing when we checked on September 1, so give it time or order from AmiAmi.
Two AmiAmi caveats worth knowing before you commit. The listing caps orders at one per person, and it warns that the box ships alone and that shipping may run high because of the package size — at 270 mm with a wide water-effect base, budget more than you would for a typical 1/7. With no stated deadline, the practical rule is the same as for any allocation-based scale: popular Miku figures can close early, and a rerun two years out is never guaranteed. Kaiyodo is better known for its Revoltech line than for 1/7 scales, and has no established rerun cadence for scale figures.
Where this fits in Miku’s year
Miku’s figure calendar is as crowded as ever — Good Smile showed three new Nendoroids at Magical Mirai 2026 TOKYO just last week, none of them priced yet. The Azure Dragon Ver. is the opposite case: fully priced, dated and orderable now.
