MegaHouse WALLSTAR One Piece Gear 5 Luffy & Zoro Pre-Orders

MegaHouse is starting a new collectible figure line called WALLSTAR, and the first two releases are One Piece’s Monkey D. Luffy in Gear 5 and Roronoa Zoro, at ¥2,970 (about $20) each and shipping late February 2027. Orders open at Japanese hobby shops and web retailers on September 10 at 10:00 JST, which is 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT on September 9.
For overseas buyers the point is the channel: these two are ordinary retail items, not store exclusives, so the export shops should be able to take orders once their listings go up. Only the two-figure set with a bonus sticker is locked to Japanese stores, and we cover that below.
What WALLSTAR is
The name describes the gimmick. Each figure ships in a blister package with character artwork designed to be hung on a wall as-is, so the box is part of the display. If you would rather display the figure on its own, you open the blister and use the included base. MegaHouse’s pitch, per HOBBY Watch and the maker’s own product pages, is a line you collect and hang together.
The figures are painted, finished pieces, not kits. Luffy stands about 100 mm and Zoro about 90 mm; both packages are about 230 mm tall. At ¥2,970 each they sit far below MegaHouse’s Portrait.Of.Pirates line, where the P.O.P Luffy Gear 4 10th LIMITED Ver. we covered lists at ¥27,500.

The set with a sticker is Japan-only
MegaHouse also sells the pair as a set for ¥6,050 (about $40) with a limited sticker as the bonus. That set is sold through Premium Bandai, Jump Characters Store, Toei Animation Official Store, Mugiwara Store and Mugiwara Store MINI at Kiddy Land Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi. The MegaHobby product pages point to a Premium Bandai listing for it.
Those are Japan-domestic storefronts, so the sticker version means a proxy order. The set costs ¥110 more than two singles at list price, so the only thing you gain for that and the proxy fee is the sticker. For most buyers the sensible route is to order the two singles from an export shop and skip the set.

Neither AmiAmi nor HobbyLink Japan had a WALLSTAR listing as of the afternoon of September 9, which is expected a day before orders open.
