P.O.P Luffy Gear 4 Bound Man Returns as 10th LIMITED Ver.

MegaHouse is bringing back the original Portrait.Of.Pirates “SA-MAXIMUM” Monkey D. Luffy Gear 4 “Bound Man” as a 10th LIMITED Ver.: ¥27,500 (about $185), 1/8 scale at about 300 mm tall, shipping late March 2027. Orders opened on Premium Bandai at 13:00 JST on August 28, 2026, which is 12:00 AM ET (9:00 PM PT on August 27) for US readers, with a limit of three per person.

This is a Japan-market sale. Premium Bandai’s page lists the retail channels as Premium Bandai itself, the Jump Characters Store, the Toei Animation Official Store and the Mugiwara Store, all Japanese-market channels, so a US buyer should plan on a proxy service. That is the whole “how to buy” story here. Hobby JAPAN Web reports the order window is planned to close on November 30, 2026 (Premium Bandai’s own page did not show a closing date when we checked), so there is time, but proxy orders take an extra step and MegaHouse describes this as a figure fans worldwide have been asking to see rerun.

What the 10th LIMITED Ver. is

MegaHouse frames this as a double anniversary: 2027 is the 15th year of the MAXIMUM line, the top tier of P.O.P, and the 10th anniversary of Bound Man, which MegaHouse calls the release that kept the P.O.P series going. Rather than a straight reissue, the paint has been reworked with techniques developed on later releases such as the Ver.2 Bound Man and Gear 2 figures: the Armament Haki hardening on Luffy’s limbs and the steam wrapping his body get a heavier treatment than the original run.

The page also notes the figure cannot be combined with other items in one order, and that on Premium Bandai a credit card is charged at shipment.

How to buy from outside Japan

The listing is on Premium Bandai’s Japanese store, which ships to Japanese addresses, so the route is a proxy: a service such as Buyee or ZenMarket places the order with a Japanese address, receives the box in March 2027 and forwards it to you. Budget for the proxy’s service fee, domestic shipping inside Japan, international shipping on a 300 mm figure box and import duty on arrival. Because the limit is one per order, a proxy will also have to place separate orders if you want more than one.
