Premium Bandai reopened orders on five HG 1/144 kits from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury on August 31, 2026 at 11:00 JST (10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT on Sunday, August 30), with everything in the batch shipping in November 2026. All five are Hobby Online Shop web exclusives that never reached Japanese store shelves, so if you missed the first runs, this reissue — routed through a proxy service or a Premium Bandai USA listing — is the realistic way in. Prices run ¥1,980 to ¥2,860 (roughly $13–$19) per kit before shipping.

The five kits

Each product page is marked as a second reissue round, and each warns that this production run is limited: there is no posted closing date, and orders simply end once the planned quantity is spoken for. Bandai also caps how many each person can order.

A few details worth knowing from the product pages. The Calibarn reproduces its Permet Score Five coloring with in-mold red shell-unit parts, and its shield splits into eleven bit staves — Bandai notes you need two of the separately sold Witch from Mercury weapon display bases to deploy all of them. The Desultor is the deepest box of the five: assault rifle, recoilless cannon, heat knives, drone container, grenade launcher and a shield, with foil stickers to build it as Olcott’s machine. The Beguir-Beu Torche builds with either a Kenanji Team or Ridrick Team head, and the Lfrith Jiu’s back-mounted Tiger’s Hand transfers to its right arm with a swap joint.

Why it matters overseas

The Witch from Mercury’s Gunpla line has a split personality: the main cast’s suits sold at general retail, while the PROLOGUE and Vanadis Heart machines — and event colorways like this Calibarn — went to Premium Bandai only. For those, a reissue is the only way back in at list price: ¥1,980–¥2,860 per kit. Buying all five comes to ¥11,440 (about $75) plus shipping.

There is also a US wrinkle: Premium Bandai USA opened its own Gundam Lfrith Jiu reissue in July at $24 with orders listed through October 16, 2026, also shipping in November. A domestic listing means dollar pricing and no proxy fees, so check there first; the other four had no US pages we could find when we checked on August 31.
