Alter Kotone Fujita Kamurogiku 1/7 Figure Pre-Orders Open

Alter has opened pre-orders on its 1/7 scale Kotone Fujita “Kamurogiku Ver.” from Gakuen iDOLM@STER, listed at ¥29,480 (about $195) including tax and scheduled for September 2027. It is a general-retail release rather than a maker-exclusive, so overseas buyers can order it from the usual import shops: HobbyLink Japan has it at ¥26,800 (about $180) with a cancellation deadline of November 6, 2026, and AmiAmi lists it at ¥28,000 (about $185).

Alter posted the painted production sample on its own blog on September 10, a week before the shop listings appeared.

What Alter built

Kotone wears the Kamurogiku (冠菊) outfit, the chrysanthemum-themed costume from the game, and the figure stands roughly 270 mm tall, which is tall for a 1/7. Materials are PVC and ABS.

The sculpt is credited to Riku Kurokawa and Toshiaki Numakura, with paint work credited to Scarlet (緋色) and Watanabe (渡邊恭大). Alter’s product page carries the usual note that the photos are of a prototype and the retail piece may differ slightly.

What this means if you are ordering from abroad

Two things matter here. The first is the gap between the Japanese list price and what the import shops charge. Alter sets the domestic MSRP at ¥29,480 with tax, or ¥26,800 before it. HLJ’s ¥26,800 is exactly that pre-tax figure, which is what an export order drops to once Japanese consumption tax comes off. AmiAmi’s ¥28,000 works differently: it is a discount off the ¥29,480 tax-included price, so it still sits above the pre-tax number. Neither price includes international shipping, and a 270 mm Alter box is not light.

The second is the deadline structure. HLJ’s listing gives a cancellation deadline of November 6, 2026 JST — the end of November 5 in the US, around 10:00 a.m. ET / 7:00 a.m. PT — after which, in HLJ’s words, cancellations will not be accepted, even though the figure is nearly a year from shipping. HLJ’s order dialog also carries a generic warning that items past their cut-off cannot be cancelled at all, so check what the page tells you at the moment you order. AmiAmi does not publish a cut-off for this one yet. Where it fits in the line

Kotone is already well served in 1/7 — AmiAmi and HLJ both list earlier scale figures of her from other makers alongside this one — so the Kamurogiku outfit is what this release is selling. Amazon US has no listing yet, which is normal for a Japanese pre-order this far from release; the link below is a search until one appears.
