Umamusume Tokai Teio, Nikke Marciana 1/4 Delayed to Oct 2026

Good Smile's Sep 2 notice moves six FREEing figures, led by Tokai Teio and Marciana 1/4, from September to Oct 2026; KILL la KILL 1/7 slips to Feb 2027.

Good Smile Company has pushed six FREEing figures from September to October 2026, headed by the two big 1/4 scales of the month: Tokai Teio from Umamusume: Pretty Derby (¥39,600, about $270) and Marciana - School Days from Goddess of Victory: Nikke (¥44,000, about $300). The notice went up on September 2 (JST), cites manufacturing scheduling, and both product pages already show October. The English version of the same notice adds one bigger slip that the Japanese page does not list: Aniplex’s KILL la KILL 1/7 scale figure moves from September to February 2027.

If you pre-ordered at AmiAmi, HobbyLink Japan or the Good Smile store, nothing changes except the wait. Those shops charge at shipment or when the payment request goes out, so the bill lands in October rather than September. If you had bundled one of these with another September figure to save on shipping, the rest of the order may ship without it, depending on the shop’s combine rules.

What moved

Prices are Good Smile’s list prices where we could confirm them on the product pages; the KILL la KILL price is AmiAmi’s listing. One caution on that item: AmiAmi’s page showed March 2027 when we checked, one month later than Good Smile’s February. Take the maker’s notice as the current date and expect shop listings to settle in the coming days.

Tokai Teio is the 400 mm, 1/4 scale figure of her race outfit, sculpted by Norimiki Ujikawa at Dragoncraft and painted by yozakura, and it sold in a Good Smile window from November 27, 2025 to January 28, 2026 with a three-per-person limit. Marciana is the 230 mm, 1/4 scale figure of her School Days Burst Skill pose, sculpted by Morikura at Heartstrings, also painted by yozakura, with a Good Smile window from January 20 to March 18, 2026. Both windows are closed, and both HLJ pages showed out of stock on September 4, so the delay mostly affects people who already ordered.

What ships instead

The same day Good Smile posted its second batch of September ship dates. Eight items leave the warehouse from September 10 (JST): POP UP PARADE Vanilla and Chocola Winter Clothes Ver. L Size, POP UP PARADE Hatsune Miku Cinnamoroll Collaboration Ver. L Size, KADOKAWA’s Archer/Durga, Claynel’s Owari Anime Expo 2024 Ver. and Maruzensky Signature Racewear Ver. 1/7 scales plus its Frieren 1/7 rerelease, and DMM Factory’s Illustrator Collection figure by Nabi. The first batch, covered in our September ship-date roundup, started moving on September 4.

Why this matters for overseas buyers

FREEing’s 1/4 line is where Good Smile’s most expensive standard releases sit, and the two flagship figures for September have now both slipped. A one-month delay is routine for the company this year; the figma Marin and CERAMAX mugs took the same one-to-two-month move in August. What is worth watching is whether October holds: Good Smile’s notices say items not yet listed are still in quality control, and FREEing’s queue keeps growing, with the 1/3 scale Akeno bunny that opened this week already booked for April 2027.

For overseas orders the practical effect is on the second shipping leg. A 400 mm Tokai Teio ships in a large, heavy box, so if you were planning to combine it with lighter October items at a proxy or a Japanese shop, the delay makes that easier rather than harder. Good Smile US and Good Smile Europe receive stock after the Japanese ship date, by sea or air, so North American and European deliveries of these figures are now realistically a late-2026 event.
