Touhou Project is the long-running doujin bullet-hell shooter series made almost single-handedly by ZUN under the Team Shanghai Alice label, and the seed of one of the largest fan-creation ecosystems in Japan — music, manga, games and a steady stream of licensed figures. Shrine maiden Reimu Hakurei and witch Marisa Kirisame are the faces of the series, so most figure lines start with them. Merchandise comes from many makers, large and small, under Team Shanghai Alice's fan-work and commercial licensing rules.
