Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team is Sunrise's 1996–1999 OVA set on the ground during the One Year War, following Shiro Amada's platoon of Ground Gundams and Ground GMs in Southeast Asia. Its mud-and-jungle take on the franchise made the Ground Gundam, the Gouf Custom and the Apsalus long-term Gunpla favorites, and Bandai keeps the HG and MG kits in rotation through retail reissues and Premium Bandai web reruns.
