Bandai Spirits has announced FiguartsZERO Uzumaki Naruto -NARUTO 72 series- 29, a statue that recreates a newly drawn NARUTO illustration in three dimensions: ¥11,000 tax-in (about $75), pre-orders open at Japanese retailers on September 1, 2026 JST, release scheduled for March 2027. It is a general-retail release, not a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive, so import shops like HobbyLink Japan and AmiAmi can list it — and Bandai’s own sales-area chart includes the USA, EMEA and Latin America alongside Japan and Asia.

Bandai lists only the pre-order date, not an hour. September 1 begins in Japan at 11:00 AM ET (8:00 AM PT) on Monday, August 31, so US buyers can start watching shop listings from Monday morning.

An illustration turned into a figure, frame and all

“-NARUTO 72 series-” is a project of newly commissioned NARUTO illustrations, and this figure adapts number 29 in that lineup: Naruto mid-lunge with a kunai, with Gaara looming in the background. Bandai’s page does not spell out what the “72” stands for, but the concept is clear from the product itself — the whole illustration is sculpted, not just the character.

The build is a full-color Naruto figure attached to a semi-relief base: Gaara and his sand gourd are rendered as a raised relief inside a white frame, so the finished piece reads like the artwork popped out of its border. The back of the base carries an engraved “-NARUTO 72 series-” logo. Total height is about 190 mm in PVC and ABS, age rating 15+, and the set contents are simply the figure itself — no swap-out parts, since FiguartsZERO is Bandai’s fixed-pose line.

Part of a crowded September 1

This opens in the same wave as S.H.Figuarts Stark from Frieren and the Jujutsu Kaisen Mahito and Nanami figures, all general-retail Bandai pre-orders starting September 1. Naruto and Stark both release in March 2027, so if you are ordering from HLJ or AmiAmi it may be worth combining those two into one order to save on shipping; the Jujutsu Kaisen pair follows in April and May.
